Lisa TiedeCounselor, coach, and confidant to senior leaders in marketing and advertising.

At the helm of the company she co-founded, Lisa serves as a coach, counselor and confidant to senior leaders in high-pressure situations. Clients rely on her to help them make the right choices with honest, clear and direct guidance through complex problems and uncomfortable decisions. They trust her to master the dynamics of their organization, understand the intricacies of their problems, and influence change for the better.

Lisa has helped clients like BBDO, Euro RSCG and AARP work through complicated challenges and successfully chart the course for the future. When an internationally recognized advertising agency came to Sequence for help managing an overwhelming influx of new business and structural change, Lisa got them to focus on what needed to be done, make decisions, and work together. She served as a mentor, problem-solver and change management advisor for the CEO and executive leadership team, effecting changes that enabled them to take advantage of their momentum rather than be overwhelmed by it.

Lisa has the benefit of having been on the other side of the table as a client paying for consultants to “advise” her on solving complex problems. After coming away from those experiences with solutions that just didn’t work for her organization, she has a unique understanding of how each client’s problems are different and there are no “one size fits all” solutions for the challenges that companies face today.

Lisa co-founded Sequence Consulting in 2002 after developing and refining her approach to consulting with global consulting firm marchFIRST, helping companies build visionary brands, business models, systems and processes. As a Vice-President with the company, Lisa was a key member of the Executive Committee and worked closely with the Board of Directors and the senior leadership team. She played a critical role in major acquisitions, multiple financing events and global workforce realignment.

Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree at Hope College in Michigan and her Masters degree at DePaul University in Chicago.
