At Sequence, we’re deeply committed to the association sector. CHRIS VAUGHAN, PH.D.
Before co-founding Sequence Consulting, Chris spent over a decade helping leading organizations innovate, grow, and solve complex challenges. With deep expertise in membership strategy, marketing, and digital transformation, he now helps associations increase revenue, attract and retain members, and create lasting impact.
Chris has led major strategic initiatives for organizations like Microsoft, Novell, and American Airlines, driving innovation and market expansion. At Sequence Consulting, he applies that same data-driven, results-focused approach to helping associations modernize membership models, optimize engagement strategies, and build sustainable revenue streams.
His ability to combine strategic insight with hands-on execution makes him a trusted advisor to some of the world’s leading associations, ensuring they thrive in a rapidly changing landscape.

LISA VAUGHAN
Lisa has spent her career advising CEOs and Boards on growth, strategy, and organizational transformation. With deep expertise in membership models, revenue strategy, and structural change, she helps associations navigate complexity, seize new opportunities, and achieve long-term success.
Lisa has led more than 40 mergers and acquisitions, guiding organizations through critical transitions and growth initiatives. One of her proudest achievements was helping a mid-sized private company expand into a publicly traded firm with 10,000 employees across 30 countries—a testament to her ability to drive change at scale.
